Twice a year, I host a walk along Bolton trails, along with Councillor Mezzapelli, to encourage people to get outdoors and be active, to
learn about our local trails and to increase appreciation for our natural environment.
On Sunday, June 1st at 10 a.m. we will be walking through some of the trails located in the former Bolton Camp property. The Bolton Camp closed in 1999 but has a long history in Bolton dating back to 1922.
The Toronto and Region Conservation Authority now owns the property and is in the process of bringing the property back to public life. We invite you to out for a walk with us and learn about this gem in our village. A TRCA representative will be leading the walk.
Access to the property by car is on Caledon-King Townline, four driveways north of King Street East, on the west side. Keep to the right as you enter and you will find the parking area.
Please dress appropriately, bring water, and, sorry, no pets allowed. The hike will end between 11:30 and noon.
