“Night on the Town” dinner with CCS Transportation Clients
Donors, clients and volunteers join together to share a 3-course meal celebrating independence afforded through this vital community service and to raise funds to ensure its sustainability.
Specialized Transportation Program at Caledon Community Services provides more than 37,000 rides annually to seniors and those with disabilities, keeping them connected through access to their community and all that Caledon has to offer. In 2016, volunteer drivers drove more than 145,196 kilometers in their own vehicles, giving the gift of independence to those who need it most.
With support from donors like presenting sponsor Topac Express, our neighbours are able to attend essential medical and dialysis appointments, shop for groceries, visit their families and attend social activities in the community.
Funds raised through this event directly provide approximately 440 seniors and those with disabilities access to CCS’ Transportation Services during the year.
The evening also offers clients the opportunity to experience a special ‘night on the town’ as guests of the sponsors.
