Canada Day Service Changes

REGION OF PEEL SERVICES AFFECTED BY CANADA DAY HOLIDAY

BRAMPTON, ON. (June 24, 2014) – Region of Peel offices and non-emergency services will be closed on Tuesday, July 1 for the Canada Day holiday and will re-open on Wednesday, July 2.

There will be no waste collection services in Brampton, Mississauga and Caledon on Tuesday, July 1 due to the Canada Day holiday. Garbage and recyclable materials (blue box and green bin) will be collected one day later that week.

All Community Recycling Centres (CRCs) in Peel will be closed on Tuesday, July 1 and will reopen on Wednesday, July 2.

TransHelp service hours will be from 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1 to 1 a.m. on Wednesday, July 2. Service will be provided by taxi vendors, but not available by bus. Accessible Transportation offices will be closed. Regular office hours and bus service will resume on Wednesday, July 2.

The Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives (PAMA) will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, reopening on Wednesday, July 2. Visit pama.peelregion.ca for more information on PAMA’s exhibits and programs.
