Spring marks the start of baby season, when thousands of injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife arrive at the National Wildlife Centre. Join us for our first Virtual Wildlife Baby Shower and welcome nature’s newest arrivals, including a newborn opossum, fox kit, duckling, and other species.
A Wildlife Baby Shower is a joyful new way to celebrate the arrival of the orphaned baby animals beginning to arrive at the NWC wildlife hospital already! Just like a traditional baby shower, this virtual event invites the public to welcome nature’s newest arrivals – a newborn opossum, fox kit, duckling, or other species, while learning about their lives and the challenges they face in the wild.
We have created a registry of baby gifts we need as we prepare for a busy season, such as veterinary care, baby supplies and food for growing animals.
