Bolton Regional Councillor Good to Know

Caledon’s Future Film-makers?

The Caledon Public Library extends an invitation to you to attend their Young Reels event on Thursday February 28th at Empire Theatres Bolton.

This is an evening where films that have been created by youth, aged 14 to 18, in our community are shown on the big screen and we honour some of those films in different areas. Jesse Wente, head programmer for TIFF, also will be coming out to chat with the audience on that evening as well!

This program would not be possible without the support of the Friends of the Library and we are all very grateful for that! The doors will open at 5:00 p.m. with the formal programming beginning at 6:00 p.m. Tickets to watch the movies will be $5 per person, which include screening the films and an after-party in the lobby. We hope to see you there!

  • We have some very talented students in Caledon. Our family has gone to Young Reels for the past 2 years since our son was a participant. Now that he is away at university we wouldn’t miss it. I highly recommend this for families, young and old.
