On Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at approximately 6:46 a.m., officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Caledon Detachment responded to a serious collision at the intersection of Old School Road and Mississauga Road in the Town of Caledon.
The collision involved two vehicles – a white work van and a black pickup truck.
The driver of the van, a 22-year-old male from Caledon, was taken to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The passenger, a 21-year-old female from Brampton, was transported to a local hospital with non-serious injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 46-year-old male from Brampton, was transported to a hospital with non-serious injuries.

Old School Road remains closed between Creditview Road and Heritage Road; Mississauga Road is closed between Mayfield Road and King Street. The OPP Central Region Traffic Incident Management Efficiency (TIME) Team is on scene assisting with the investigation.
