Old Downtown
Written by Patti Foley

You are invited to attend Public Open House and meeting for the Town of Caledon Intensification Strategy Study. This study is intended to review and recommend policies about Intensification for the Town.

Your attendance and participation at this meeting are important for the Town as it is your opportunity to learn more about the Study and to provide your input. This meeting will be held on:

DATE:              Monday, May 4, 2015

TIME:               7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (with a presentation scheduled at 7:30 p.m.)

PLACE:           Caledon Community Centre, 6215 Old Church Rd., Caledon East

The Provincial Policy Statement, the Growth Plan, the Region of Peel Official Plan and the Town of Caledon Official Plan all require Intensification. Intensification helps to complete communities and is compatible with the Town’s vision for a safe, green community of communities. The Town’s consultants will present the study’s progress, types of intensification and design guidelines.

A project webpage has been established at www.caledon.ca where you can find updates about the Study, and staff contact information.
