BREAK AND ENTER TO MCGUIRE TRAIL HOME IN CALEDON

 (CALEDON, ON) – On June 27, 2016, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate a break and enter which occurred sometime between 9:30 am and 1:20 pm earlier that day.  The investigation has revealed that the suspect(s) gained entry by force through a door to the residence.  Once inside, the suspect(s) ransacked the residence and jewellery was stolen.

Police are reminding residents to contact the OPP Communications Centre immediately at 1-888-310-1122 to report any suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in the area.  Information such as suspect physical descriptions, suspect vehicles and direction of travel are useful tools for investigators.

Police are asking anyone with information about this break and enter to contact Provincial Constable Perreira, Caledon OPP at 905-584-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).  You can submit information online at www.peelcrimestoppers.ca. Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display and will remain anonymous.  Being anonymous, you will not testify in court and your information may lead to a cash reward of up to $2,000.00.
