At Caruso Gourmet Pizza a profusion of almost four dozen ingredients and the limitless imaginations of Domenic and Dina Caruso blend perfectly to bring you an amazing pizza experience in the heart of Bolton.
Mind you there is a lot more to this eatery than the pizzas. The menu here is nicely rounded out with lasagna and other pasta entrees, as well as paninis and calzones. But for me, a big fan of the almost 40-year old Bolton business, it’s all about the gourmet pizza.
About 40 different choices adorn this one-of-a-kind menu. My personal favourites include Basilico with its giant whole mushrooms and only a lovely sprinkling of parmigiano for the cheese contribution, Pollo E Carcofi with roasted red peppers and artichokes complementing the grilled chicken, Stirfry which is oh so hardy with potatoes, eggplant and a tasty dance of other delicious veggies, and Porchetta with caramelized onions as a perfect companion.
The heat-seeker won’t be disappointed with New Orleans or Mexicana or any of the hot oil offerings like Anchovy, Bianco or Dina. And of course, in the unimaginable situation that you can’t choose, you can always just build your own.
Enjoy your meal with a glass of red wine and finish it off, if you have the room, with a slice of Cheesecake Factory cheesecake and an expresso or cappuccino.
You’ll find Caruso Gourmet Pizza at 212 Queen Street south in Bolton, just next door to the Arena, the Caledon Public Library and the Caledon Parent Child Centre.
