Bees, Butterflies, and Beyond!

Monarch Butterfly
Written by Patti Foley

Come celebrate pollinator week!

Bring your family and friends out to help attract pollinators by planting wildflowers and installing habitat structures along the Etobicoke Creek Trail. Learn the importance of bees and other pollinators to our local food system. Participants will also have an opportunity to take home wildflower seeds and a small habitat feature for the backyard!

The Valleywood Stewardship Project is kindly supported by The Ontario Trillium Foundation and Region of Peel (2014-2017). This project will engage local residents, students and partners to help protect, restore and enhance the natural environment of SouthFields and Valleywood communities, Town of Caledon. This project is in partnership with SouthFields Village Residents Group, Valleywood Resident Association, ecoCaledon, The Living City Foundation and Toronto and Region Conservation.
