DETACHMENT COMMANDER FOR THE DAY

Calling all Grade 5 Caledon students

(CALEDON, ON) – Want to be the boss for the day? As a part of Police Week 2015, the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is holding a competition to Grade 5 Caledon students.

Students are asked to submit a one-page essay on why they should be chosen to be the “Detachment Commander for the Day”. During his/her tenure as Detachment Commander, the selected student will have the opportunity to spend valuable time with Inspector Tim Melanson and learn how the Caledon Detachment operates on a daily basis.

For more information on this exciting project, please contact A/Sgt. Brenda Evans at 905-584-2241.

Students are asked to submit their essay prior to May 1st, 2015 to brenda.evans@opp.ca or they can be dropped off at the Detachment Office, 15924 Innis Lake Road, Caledon, Ontario.
