Calling all Grade 5 Caledon students

(CALEDON, ON) – Want to be the boss for the day? As a part of Police Week 2015, the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is holding a competition to Grade 5 Caledon students.

Students are asked to submit a one-page essay on why they should be chosen to be the “Detachment Commander for the Day”. During his/her tenure as Detachment Commander, the selected student will have the opportunity to spend valuable time with Inspector Tim Melanson and learn how the Caledon Detachment operates on a daily basis.

Students are asked to submit their essay prior to May 1st, 2015 to or they can be dropped off at the Detachment Office, 15924 Innis Lake Road, Caledon, Ontario.
