Bolton Regional Councillor Good to Know

A Million Dollar Neighbourhood?

Is Bolton a good choice for the next Million Dollar Neighbourhood Challenge? Bolton resident Leah Dilley thinks so, and to that end Leah is hosting an Open House this week to explain the process. If Force Four Entertainment receives enough expressions of interest from Bolton residents by next week the town could make the short list and receive a visit from Force Four at which they’d explain the finer details and (possibly) become the chosen town for their next season’s show.  So use the email below to send them your stories/interest or drop by Leah’s Open House at 85 King Street West, Bolton, on Wed the 16th anytime between 4:00 p.m. amd 8:00 p.m.

OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network (Canada) and Force Four Productions (Cupcake Girls, Urban/Suburban) are searching for an adventurous community to take part in season two of Million Dollar Neighborhood. Could your town be next? Is your family ready to commit to the million-dollar challenge?

100 families from one select community will have 10 weeks to try to increase their collective net worth by $1 million. If chosen, you will be given access to top financial experts and a powerful group of advisers in order to attempt this goal. You’ll have the opportunity to get out of debt, save money and build a stronger community in order to live your best life!

If you want to take part in an exciting new series and participate in an inspiring movement that’s sweeping the nation, please email us and tell us why you think your town is the next Million Dollar Neighborhood. We want to know:

Why your town should be the next Million Dollar Neighborhood – maybe a major business has shut down in your community or the recession has hit your town particularly hard and you need extra help!

Why it’s so important for you and your family to receive the help and support of financial experts.

What makes your community unique in Canada.

To nominate your community or your family, please email stories, pictures and thoughts to:
