Going ALL IN for a Future Close to Home
For families of adults with special needs, one question can weigh heavily: Who will care for my loved one when I no longer can?
Close 2 Home Caledon is working to help families answer that question with hope, and a plan for a sustainable, supportive home within the community they love.
This Friday, October 23, the charity invites the community to Caesars Centre in Bolton for its inaugural ALL IN CASINO EVENT, an evening of entertainment and generosity supporting a deeply personal mission.
Guests can enjoy poker, blackjack and roulette, but there is plenty of fun for those who prefer other activities. Mini golf, a hit-the-nail game and a prosciutto-holding contest will bring some friendly competition to the evening. A gourmet buffet and late-night porchetta will keep everyone well fed, while community-donated prizes – including sports tickets, a YETI icebox and golf experiences—will add to the excitement.
Behind every ticket purchased and every prize donated is a larger purpose: helping adults with special needs build a life with dignity, belonging and support, close to their families and familiar surroundings.
Close 2 Home Caledon is raising funds to help support the future home’s day-to-day operations. Creating a home means planning beyond construction: it means building the financial foundation to sustain the care, stability and opportunities its residents will need for years to come.
With the support of a local investor, that vision is moving forward. There is much work ahead, but also tremendous hope for what the future holds.
For families, a supportive home can mean knowing their loved one has a place where they are valued, where friendships can grow and where greater independence is supported. It can mean looking toward the future with more confidence and less uncertainty.
