Whatever Your Little Home Desires

Just over two years ago, Julian Quinones was running a t-shirt printing business in London, Ontario. During a visit from his brother Mike, they discussed Mike’s frustrations with the landscaping industry he worked in. After hearing numerous stories that illustrated sound reason for Mike’s discouragement with employers who provided bad service, low wages and more, Julian suggested his brother start his own business.

Soon, a name was chosen, flyers were printed, t-shirts with the company logo were created and both brothers were back in Caledon ready to hit the ground running. As Julian puts it “our ultimate goal was saving the world from shady landscaping companies. I guess you could say we’re like superheroes, in a way.”

NuGround is a family run operation with the motto “whatever your little home desires.” They’ve structured their business so that it best utilizes the inherent, natural skills that each family member brings to the table. Mike handles day-to-day service operations, Julian offers administrative, marketing and promotional expertise and their mom offers part time bookkeeping services from their home office in Bolton.Snow Clearing

In addition to family members, they also hire local employees to round out their staff and provide quality, year-round property maintenance services like lawn care, garden maintenance and residential snow removal. Members of the Caledon Chamber of Commerce, Julian and Mike are passionate about their community, serious about providing quality, environmentally responsible service to their clients and believe that business is about people, not numbers.

In January of 2016, due to customer demand, NuGround expanded the services they offer to include junk removal services and have recently added small residential moving support into their service mix.

NuGround is currently assisting their clients with last minute landscape winterizing of their properties, and they are preparing for a busy winter doing snow removal. They encourage anyone wishing to get a snow removal contract in place for 2017-18 to contact them right away for a free estimate by visiting their website: www.nuground.ca or calling 647-207-1387

  • These guys are fabulous. They did my lawn for 2 years, which never looked better, and helped out in my move to Richmond Hill. Always positive in everything they do!
