Palgrave Estate Policy Area Review

Where: Caledon Equestrian Park – Palgrave Community Room

The purpose of the meeting is to provide a project status update on the Palgrave Estate Residential Community Policy Review. The intent of the study is to review recent changes to Provincial planning policy, and to identify other improvements and updates to the Town’s policies for the Palgrave Estate Residential Community.

The meeting will be in an open house format with presentation boards. Participants will have the opportunity to speak directly to staff about project themes and discuss next steps.

Your attendance and participation at this meeting are important for the Town, as your input will help guide the study forward.

Overview

The purpose of the Palgrave Estate Residential Community Policy Review is to ensure that the policy framework is consistent with guiding Provincial/Regional policy. It is anticipated that the study will result in a proposed Official Plan Amendment. The study will also consider environmental constraints, servicing policies and broader community planning priniples.

Process

WSP was retained to undertake this work. The study will be conducted in four phases. The study is currently in Phase 2.
