New Boutique Allows its Visitors to Find One-Of-A-Kind Pieces
The Glitter Parlour’s vivacious co-owners Kimberly MacInnis and Kassandra Baird are bringing their unique flair and creative fashion sense to downtown Bolton.
After years of friendship, these two Mayfield Secondary School graduates are pursuing their passion for fashion.
“Our little store has a million different vibes, depending on your taste you can always find something you love,” Baird said.
After opening the doors of The Glitter Parlour nearly three years ago, MacInnis and Baird are beginning to expand and carry various Canadian brands including a Vancouver established clothing line called “BRUNETTE The Label,” that MacInnis describes as “chic and comfortable.”
“Our little boutique keeps growing, however we still pride ourselves on getting to know our customers, and allowing them to have an intimate experience,” MacInnis said.
MacInnis and Baird are always trying to create a new vision when it comes to fashion. Their customer service background has also been an asset to this small but mighty boutique. From the experience of knowing that everyone loves different fashion perspectives, they carry various distinct styles. “It allows everyone in the community to find something fresh that will suit them and their style.” Baird said.
“Our store is considered to be a mother/daughter store, which means we carry items suitable for 50 year olds as well as 18 year olds,” Baird said.
In a world where everyone is told to fit in, MacInnis and Baird believe everyone was born to stand out and be creative with their own style.
“If you want something flashy, studded, or metallic we have it. If you want something classic and laidback we also carry it,” Baird said.
The Glitter Parlour has gotten busier the longer they have been open, and show no signs of slowing down any time soon.
“We have been super busy these past few months especially since we just launched our online store, and we are loving every single minute of it. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has to offer,” MacInnis said.
